Daniel Hullah

Managing Director

Daniel applies nearly 25 years of financial expertise and innovation to his role at Three Cairns Group, where he focuses on investment management, venture capital, climate change and renewable energy.

Daniel launched his career at the consulting firm ZS Associates, working on sales and marketing strategy in the healthcare and financial services sectors. Following business school, he began a career in venture capital at RockPort Capital Partners where he was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer. At RockPort he led investments across the energy, mobility, and sustainability sectors. After RockPort, he took on a number of investing and operating roles in the clean energy space – serving as VP of Marketing and Strategy and Interim CFO at REPOWER; Director of Ventures for National Grid; and Managing Director for GE Ventures. At GE Ventures, Daniel led investments across the electricity value chain, including renewables, energy storage, and the electrification of transportation and industry. After GE Ventures, Daniel helped co-found Buoyant Ventures, focused on the intersection of digital technology and climate change.

Daniel, originally from the UK, graduated from University of Oxford with a BA in Chemistry and a DPhil in Physical Chemistry, and later received his MBA from INSEAD.

Daniel joined Three Cairns Group because of its culture of innovation. Over the course of his career, Daniel has never been afraid to take on new challenges or to lean into new ideas, and he believes in the power of entrepreneurs to transform our climate’s future.
