Geraldine Alias
Managing Director
Geraldine brings decades of investment experience to her role as Managing Director, where she applies private-sector expertise to our most pressing existential challenges. Before joining the team at Three Cairns Group, she worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Choate Investment Advisors, where she specialized in wealth management and creating private investment initiatives. She also previously served as a private equity investor at North Bridge Growth Equity, Volition Capital, and Battery Ventures, tackling a range of complex financial initiatives. Her credits also included McKinsey & Company, Goldman Sachs and Fidelity Ventures.
In addition to her investing expertise, Geraldine has long been engaged with her community. Currently, she serves as a trustee of The Meadowbrook School, co-chairs the Boston Chapter of PEWIN and is a member of the Finance and Audit Committee at Roca – an organization that focuses on improving the lives of young people affected by incarceration, poverty, and racism. Geraldine graduated from Princeton University with a BSE in Electrical Engineering, and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School.
Geraldine joined Three Cairns Group because she is passionate about using day-to-day actions to support the next generation. For Geraldine, Three Cairns Group’s work builds on the work of organizations that came before – and lays a foundation for others to come.
