Tim brings more than 10 years of experience in relationship building, communication, organizing, and government to Three Cairns Group as Executive Assistant. In this role, he works directly with co-founder Lise Strickler and Managing Director Vivien Labaton to support research, writing, and administrative operations. Tim also works on the grantmaking process, assists with political giving coordination, organizes candidate events hosted by the group’s principals, and streamlining the firm’s grant data management process.

Before coming to Three Cairns Group, Tim spent more than seven years as Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Daniel Rosenthal in the New York State Assembly. His previous work also includes roles as a political consultant, campaign manager, and field organizer – experiences that helped him develop the solutions-oriented perspective he brings to Three Cairns Group. Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology and his Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York, Baruch College.
